We here in America can really form an attachment to the junk we love to accumulate. Many of us love to find great bargains at antique stores, flea markets, or auctions.
Not just here in America, but people all over the world will spend their weekends rummaging through all sorts of places where they are apt to run up on some treasure that could be worth a mint.
Of course, we all know that we are more than likely to find a lot of junk that someone else has already decided was not worth keeping. That is what the yard sales and flea markets are mostly made up of anyway. There are many useful and unique items to be found too. Many times someone will get rid of items just because they have no use for them.
We have developed such an interest in things that we might consider to be of some value, you know those things that we can not seem to part with, even though they may be old or cracked. We even have a television show that is |
